Futures Project (Online Elective Courses) has 2 districts participating and will offer College Prep Math and Advanced Accounting for the 2016-2017 school year

Monroe #1 BOCES has Robots for districts to use with home/hospital-bound students. Please contact Dana Bowers with any questions dana_bowers@boces.monroe.edu
Desktop Video Conferencing:
Monroe #1 BOCES now has access to Zoom desktop video conferencing.
Zoom can be used will all devices/platforms with the except of Chromebooks (this will hopefully change soon)
Zoom can integrate with many different technologies within your district including Learning Management Systems (ie. Moodle/Canvas), Polycoms, mobile devices (iOS & Androids), and computers (not Chromebooks)
Monroe #1 BOCES has a Demo license available for each participating district. If you would like to test Zoom in your district please contact Dana Bowers to get your test account enabled.
The Distance Learning department also has a few USB PTZ cameras and Microphones available for demo or loan to fit the needs of your situation. Please contact Dana if you would like to test any of these devices.
NYSDLC (New York State Distance Learning Consortium)
Through the NYSDLC Monroe #1 BOCES distance learning districts have access to an online, hybrid, and distance learning courses (opportunities may have a cost). If you have need of a specific course, please contact Doreen Pietrantoni
NYSDLC created Collaborations and Career Connections are available for the M1B DL Districts. This allows for high quality, learning experiences which are aligned to NYS Learning and Common Core Standards.
