About eLearning

This site has been designed to share information regarding eLearning opportunities and technologies within the Monroe One BOCES component districts. It is filled with eLearning information and opportunities to expand learning outside the classroom walls.

The Distance Learning CoSer is designed to provide live interactive instruction from a participating host site to multiple receiving sites. Individual online computer-based courses are offered to students and staff who are unable to receive their desired course through their school or via the interactive network of schools. A variety of distance learning options are available through distance learning for students and staff.

In addition to actual courses, video conferencing allows staff and students of any age, the opportunity to connect to cultural institutions, experts from around the world and acts as a medium for meetings. Through desktop video conferencing tools such as Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet, connecting with experts or other classrooms has never been easier.

This service includes program coordination, high school course scheduling, equipment installation, video conference testing and connections, equipment maintenance, as well as staff development and technical assistance as needed.
